Concrete structure is 30 meters long, 7 meters wide and 6 meters deep (89, 23 and 20 feet respectively). At first the contractor opted to use a competitor’s product for the base slab. However, considerable cracking resulted. In 1997, The Crystal Group was contracted to provide Kryton’s Krystol waterproofing materials to repair the cracked slab. Construction continued using Krystol Admixture System (KIM) treated concrete in place of competitor’s waterproofing systems.
Cracks were repaired using Kryton’s Krystol Crack Repair System. The remainder of the 38 centimeter (15 inch) concrete walls and suspended roof slab was poured using the Krystol Admixture System (KIM). To date, the pump house construction is performing perfectly.
Krystol Internal Membrane (KIM) is a hydrophilic crystalline admixture used to create permanently waterproof concrete.
Krystol T1 is a surface applied crystalline slurry treatment that transforms new or existing concrete into a permanent waterproofing barrier.
Krystol T2 is a surface-applied crystalline slurry treatment that transforms new or existing concrete into a permanent waterproofing barrier.
As part of the Krystol Leak Repair System, Krystol Plug is a rapid-setting hydraulic cement product that when mixed with water is used to stop flowing water and repair leaking cracks, holes and joints in concrete.
The Krystol Leak Repair System is a permanent crystalline waterproofing solution used for repairing leaking cracks, holes and joints found in concrete. It reliably stops high water flow, even under high-hydrostatic pressure, and outperforms injection systems. Repairing leaks is a simple 3-step process that involves…
