KRYTON INTERNATIONAL
Krystol Internal Membrane (KIM) is an integral crystalline concrete waterproofing admixture. When mixed with concrete, it causes millions of needle-like crystals to grow, filling the spaces between concrete particles and permanently blocking the movement of water and waterborne contaminants. When cracks form, it reacts with incoming water to grow additional crystals that self-seal the cracks, saving maintenance and repair costs over the long term. It saves construction time and costs, offers maximum design flexibility, protects steel reinforcement against corrosion, and lasts the lifetime of the structure. It’s ideal for shotcrete, precast, and cast-in-place applications.
