Kryton Purchases Indian Plant to Manufacture Concrete Waterproofing and Specialty Coatings Products
Vancouver, B.C. — Recognizing India’s untapped potential, Kryton has purchased a manufacturing and distribution facility in New Delhi. As a part owner of the plant since the mid-1990s, we have purchased 100% ownership to enable us to prepare for anticipated future growth in this marketplace.
A United Nations study predicts that by 2015, three of the world’s 10 largest cities will be in India. The country is poised to experience tremendous growth and rapid urbanization, including significant real estate and infrastructure developments.
To meet the expected increase in demand in this market, we are renovating the New Delhi plant to increase its production capacity and capabilities. Along with purchasing and installing new supplies and equipment, we will send Kryton experts to New Delhi this fall to establish a new coatings division and train plant employees.
