KRYTON International Inc. is involved in the global dialogue in reducing life cycle costs (LCC) and promoting more sustainable structures through design incorporating high-quality materials.
The aim is to save money over the lifespan of a building by avoiding recurring repairs or replacement costs and promote responsible construction practices which have less of a negative impact on the environment.
Kryton International, the inventor of the original crystalline admixture, has been manufacturing concrete waterproofing solutions since 1973. Kryton’s Krystol Internal Membrane (KIM) is the only Permeability Resistant Admixture for Hydrostatic Conditions (PRAH) available on the market. The American Concrete Institute (ACI) report on chemical admixtures states that the product has stood up to more independent tests than any other solution.
Rolf Skala, Director of Marketing for Kryton International Inc said: “The Big 5 is a great opportunity to exhibit Krystol Products to Middle East audiences. With over 70, 000 construction professionals attending the show, it is one of the best ways to put our products on display for the world.”
Although the climate in the Middle East is much dryer than most other parts of the world, water infiltration is still a major issue.
Crystalline waterproofing solution, Krystol technology activates when in contact with moisture, creating crystals that stem the flow of water, avoiding rebar corrosion and problems that lessen structure’s durability.
Kryton International solutions have been used in more than 100 projects in the GCC. A vast majority of those were waterproofed using KIM, while others were repaired using Kryton Crystalline Crack Repair technology .
