As a supplementary cementing material, Con-Fume meets or exceeds all current ASTM, CSA, and AASHTO specifications for silica fume.
Con-Fume silica fume reacts with the hydration products of Portland cement, forming calcium silicate hydrate gel, which enhances strength and durability by consuming the weaker calcium hydroxide.
Con-Fume is recommended for high performance ready mix, shotcrete and precast concrete applications.
