Kryton International Inc. is collecting dollars and donations for Habitat for Humanity Greater Vancouver this holiday season – and you can help too!
Vancouver, BC – December 9th, 2013 Once again, it is that time of year. String the lights, set up the tree, and help our local communities! This year Kryton has named their annual Christmas Charity as Habitat for Humanity Greater Vancouver.
Not only is the Kryton team raising cash – but Habitat for Humanity loves to accept gently used donations to sell at their ReStores. New or used building materials (including cans of paint!), appliances or home décor items in good condition are all accepted, with the ReStore profits covering all administration costs associated with running this important community organization.
With the cost of owning a home in Vancouver rising, hardworking families living in substandard housing value the support that Habitat for Humanity can offer, to help make their home ownership goals a reality.
“We are grateful to have the incredible support of Kryton to help us break the cycle of poverty,” says Stephani Samaridis, Director, Fund Development at Habitat for Humanity Greater Vancouver. “Providing hard-working , low income families with an opportunity to own their home and have their children thrive is what we work for every day; this is only possible through the broad support of our community and corporate partners like Kryton.”
As usual at Kryton, there will be some friendly competition with the men competing against the women to see who can raise the most for this great organization. The losing team will serenade the winners at Kryton’s Annual Christmas Party on December 14th.
If you would like to help Kryton’s efforts, by generously donating cash or items for the ReStore, you can contact Kryton’s Office Administrator Bonna Bonaag at bbonaag@kryton.com or by phone at 604-324-8280.
