Vancouver, BC (October 3rd, 2014) – Kryton International Inc.’s President & CEO, Kari Yuers will be sharing her 20+ years of knowledge and experience at the helm of an international company to audience members as part of CKNW’s Chief Executive Officer Series.
Hosted by CKNW’s Simi Sara, the show has been going one-on-one with BC’s top CEOs, delving into how they’ve achieved success, what lessons they have learned along the way and what they envision for the future of their industries. Kari is certainly excited to have a chance to share her experiences as CEO Kryton.

As President and CEO of Kryton, Kari Yuers, is recognized for her ability to build organizations and effect change. Under Kari’s leadership, Kryton has flourished from a family-run business to a company with offices and distribution in over 40 countries. Benefiting from over 25 years of experience in the global construction industry, Kari was instrumental in defining the new category of integral crystalline concrete waterproofing.
The event will also have a Question & Answer period after the taped interview where people in the audience will have an opportunity to find answers to their own questions.
“The Q & A period really gives those in attendance a great opportunity to ask anything they want, something specific to them, which is really fun and exciting,” Yuers states.
Kari is the winner of the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award (2003), Awards of Merit and Professional Achievement from the American Concrete Institute (2005) and Construction Specifications Canada (2002 and 2004), an Influential Woman in Business Award (2012) and for 4 consecutive years, Kryton was named one of the Best Companies to Work For. In 2010 she was appointed a Fellow of the American Concrete Institute (FACI), and serves as Chair of ACI’s International Advisory Committee.
