Las Vegas, Nevada (January 11, 2017) – Kryton International Inc. is excited to announce our new strategic alliance between Kryton and the jointing industry’s most innovative manufacturer, Willseal LLC. Concrete structures throughout the world are deteriorating at an alarming rate. The primary cause of this deterioration is the penetration of water and waterborne salts into the concrete – resulting in corrosion of reinforcement, ASR, sulfate, and other damaging processes.
Kryton has been a leader in developing innovative technologies to protect concrete against water intrusion. We continue to be a pioneer of crystalline waterproofing and we are the inventor of the world’s first crystalline waterproofing admixture – Krystol Internal Membrane or “KIM”. In addition, Kryton has developed unique designs for protecting the joints where concrete meets concrete during construction. These construction joints require special protection and Kryton’s Waterstop system is a proven set of designs for all static joint details.
Non-static joints, however, require a flexible detail and this is an area where Willseal LLC is the industry expert. As the original brand of pre-compressed joint sealing products, Willseal has set the global standard for this category of expansion joints.

Kevin Yuers and Willseal President, Brian Iske will be presenting their new products, designs, and alliance in Press Conference Room N251 at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 17th. The presentation will be brief and the presenters will be available for questions and interviews. Kryton will also be showcasing Krytonite Swelling Waterstop and their entire line of Krystol technology at booth S-11215 throughout the World of Concrete exhibition.
