For a second year in a row, Kryton’s CEO and President Kari Yuers has been recognized by Business in Vancouver (BIV) as one of the top six most influential business leaders in the manufacturing industry of British Columbia (BC), Canada. It’s an honor that she shares with other influential members of the manufacturing sector as part of BIV’s BC500 cohort list, which is meant to commemorate business leaders who have left a notable and positive impact on BC’s communities, industries, and economy.
As part of her own efforts to do so, Kari’s leadership has paved the way for sustainable and innovative thought leadership. In 2022 alone, she worked with the American Concrete Institute as Chair of the 212 Committee to update the guidelines on chemical admixtures, ensuring that builders will have more guidance on how to build better and more sustainably. These aren’t the only contributions Kari has made to the manufacturing industry either. She’s also been a generous volunteer to numerous organizations, including the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade and Export Development Canada.
Congratulations to Kari and the other inspiring leaders featured in this year’s BIV BC500 list!
