Krystol T2 is a surface-applied crystalline slurry treatment that transforms new or existing concrete into a permanent waterproofing barrier.
Applied as a second coat over Krystol T1, which has a concentrated amount of Krystol crystalline technology, Krystol T2 provides a harder, more durable finish that protects the Krystol T1 and insures complete surface coverage. When used together, Krystol T1 & Krystol T2 become part of the Krystol T1 & T2 Waterproofing System.
Krystol T2 contains Krystol technology. When applied to concrete, Krystol chemically reacts with water and un-hydrated cement particles to form needle-shaped crystals that fill capillary pores and micro-cracks in the concrete and permanently block the pathways for water and waterborne contaminants. Any moisture introduced over the lifespan of the concrete will initiate crystallization, ensuring permanent waterproofing protection. Krystol T2 is used as part of the Krystol T1 & T2 waterproofing system in both recently poured or decade’s old concrete. It is the ideal surface applied waterproofing system for foundations & walls, elevated slabs & ramps, parking structures, water towers & bridge decks.
